The Show Must Go On

The last two years of late night television left a bad taste in my mouth. Conan's show really went down-hill for a while and his documentary left me feeling indifferent about everything he's doing.

It's also been in the back of my head that Letterman's reign will be coming to a close in the next few years or so. He turns 65 this month.

That's all pretty heavy thinking, I know.

However, today, news came out that Letterman renewed his contract with CBS for another two years. CBS also extended their commitment to Craig Furguson.

That commitment from Letterman and CBS lit a small fire under me. With another couple years of solid late night TV ahead of us, it's worth revisiting this blog. Cheer up! There's still some fun to be had in late night television over the coming years.

Look for regular posts to this blog starting today.
